The rain poured down and soaked anything it touched.

She looked up at the sky, the rain beating down on her face. It was her name sake, her identity.

She wasn't waiting for anyone, just enjoying the peaceful way the park was deserted when it rained. No one other than her liked to come out in the rain.

She loved the way the rain made the greenery glisten and the way the water created a refection for everything. It made the world seem like a different place to her.

A man walked toward her, unwelcome and unknown.

"Hello."

"Hello," she returned the greeting stiffly.

"Are you Rain?" He knew her name, but she didn't know his.

He grinned at her and for the first time she noticed how handsome he truly was. The park's silence echoed around them, creating am mysterious feeling that intrigued the woman.
