Emmett threw a shirt on the bed next to the open suitcase then turned back to the closet. Behind him, Rosalie carefully folded it and placed it into the suitcase.
"Emmett…" she whispered suddenly.
"Yes, Rose?" He threw two more shirts onto the bed.
"You're okay with going away right?" She toyed with the button on the shirt she had been folding.
"I'm fine. With running away." His voice was even, showing no sign of frustration.
"We're not running away." She folded the shirt, annoyed.
"You're right. I'm not running away. You are."
She pouted, irritated that he was right.

Carlisle pulled Esme in his arms swiftly. She embraced him tightly, knowing that he just wanted to be held by her. "Run away with me," he whispered in her ear.
She laughed sexily in his ear. "Anywhere with you."
He sighed contently. Her body pressed to his; her warm breath on his cheek.
"Where are we going this time?" she whispered, her voice low.
"I don't know yet. We're talk to everyone before we decide, of course."
"Of course."
He kissed her hair, tightening his arms around her. "Run away with me."
She just turned and kissed him this time.

James followed his prey deftly, not making a sound. Victoria followed him, her motions gracefully cat-like.
The couple started to jog when they reached the entrance to the path. They weren't running away from their hunters; they weren't even aware of the predators lurking in the shadows. They were just running as if they didn't have a care in the world. As if they weren't about to die.
Dawn was approaching quickly; the sun rising over the trees in the distance.
James gave Victoria a quick glance, signaling her it was time to strike. Together they attacked their prey viciously.
