The fight rages on inside me
The battle is in my eyes
As I look at the ones who
Matter the most to me
Who give me comfort
And meaning and love
In the unfair world
But I can't understand
What I'm struggling with
What demons and vices
And sins and secrets
That I carry deep inside
That weighs on my mind
That destroys my soul
That poisons my body

It's a battle hidden deep
Inside myself that I'm forced
To fight and will win
