hinky because she's just that awesome.
Summary: It was personal.
He never smiled. He never spoke anything that wasn't important. He never did anything that he wasn't told to. He was a good-doer, a warrior, a man on a holy mission.
He was an angel.
Dean couldn't get Castiel out of his head. The man – the angel, whatever he was – consumed his thoughts and days. He could spend hours just thinking about Castiel, trying to figure him out, trying to understand him. But it never worked. The being was the unknown, the mystery in Dean's life. Dean understood about ghost and demons, but angels were something new.
But the man himself was an enigma. He was shrouded in mystery and illusion, only coming to Dean when Sam wasn't there. It was like he didn't want anyone else to see him. Like he only wanted to show himself to Dean. Which would make sense if it wasn't so odd.
Now the man, the angel, the being himself stood before him. No words passed between them yet Dean waited. He waited for Castiel to speak and tell him the world was collapsing again. But he didn't. He just looked at Dean.
"I'm not supposed to be here," Castiel said in a slow voice.
"God didn't send you?" Dean said, jokingly. He wasn't sure he believed in God even now.
"No. I came on my own," Castiel said in an even voice that chilled Dean. This wasn't a business meeting. It was something more – something greater than the greater good.
It was personal.
Dean could see it in the other man's face. It was personal, and probably primal. He was consumed with thoughts of Dean, and he had to come and see him. He had to. He was driven by the desire. Much like Dean was.
They were two of a kind. Warriors of their own wars; brothers in arms.
Castiel took a step toward him, and Dean mimicked. He couldn't help it. Something was drawing him toward the other man. He had no control over what he did now. Not this moment. Not alone with him. Not when he wasn't mouthing off about God and other things that Dean couldn't comprehend after all he had seen.
"You are one of the good people," Castiel told him simply, drawing up right near Dean. All Dean had to do was reach out and touch him to prove to himself that he was real. But he couldn't. He couldn't touch the man. The man shouldn't – couldn't be there.
It was too impossible for him. He was an angel.
But Castiel didn't stop himself like Dean had. He reached out and touched Dean's face. It was a lover's caress and he looked as though he relished it. He closed his eyes, breathing in deeply. Did angels had to breath?
Without saying a word, he leaned forward and pressed his lips to Dean's. The kiss was insatiable. It didn't satisfy his desire to be with this man, to feel him. It couldn't. A kiss wasn't enough. Dean kissed him back, letting his tongue slide in the other man's mouth.
The feeling was amazing. Castiel might be an angel, but he was still a man. He seemed as greedy and lustful as any woman Dean had been with. His other hand reached up to pull Dean closer, and Dean, waiting no time, tugged off the man's shirt. They had to break the contact so Dean could finish pull the shirt up over his head and toss it aside. His hands roamed the other man's chest, feeling him, soaking him in.
"Holy shit!" a voice shocked them back to reality.
The men jumped apart.
Sam stood at the door, looking shocked, but not guilty for interrupting the men. Of course, he didn't. He still was trying to wrap his mind around what he had seen, what they had been doing. It was a kiss – only a kiss, but now Sam knew.
"What the hell?" Sam muttered, his voice getting louder with every syllable. "I can't unsee that! And don't tell me you were touched by an angel!"

--- You have such a beautiful descriptive tone. Really drew me in to the story. I was so enchanted with the inner thoughts here.
"But Castiel didn't stop himself like Dean had. He reached out and touched Dean's face. It was a lover's caress and he looked as though he relished it. He closed his eyes, breathing in deeply. Did angels had to breath?"
--- *squirms* Oh yes! So so good =D *flails around* Just the idea of seeing him do this slays me!

--- YOU are a mind-reader! I just finished talking to my sister about something like this happening. I'd love for Sam to walk in on them and you did! And it was epic! I mean, Castiel is always controlling things so that Sam is sleeping when he visits. This is just so great! *beams*
Nicely written and my goodness, I wish it was longer! <3333 I'm adding this to my memories!

--- Ohhhhh nice!

--- Gorgeous.
He reached out and touched Dean's face. It was a lover's caress and he looked as though he relished it. He closed his eyes, breathing in deeply.
--- Awwwww *spazzing* The vision of Castiel doing that just makes me want to give you my heart. I love the thought of it!!! Esp. the add-on of him closing his eyes and breathing in... Favorite imagery of the whole thing.
2nd fav imagery ---> "I can't unsee that! And don't tell me you were touched by an angel!"
--- LMFAO!
