The first is absolutely bloodcurdling; Victoria is such a creepy character, and you've totally got her down pat--the urge to see the terror, but the bloodlust taking over. The last line of the second is so telling--"she was getting accustomed to the night". There's something about the plain past tense ("she is" would have been more dramatic, "she had been" more stately) that really adds to it; it's so simplistic, no strivings to be super-eloquent, and so the meaning just hits you sqaure in the jaw: Bella is growing to like darkness. (AKA: Edward.)
And then...the last one is just so powerful. My favorite, of the three. I love the way Edward trails off at the end, and his defensive nature, and Rosalie's denial about Emmett. Gah. So lovely!
