Five years after our marriage, I'm still human. My own blood is still pumping through my veins.
He's still there for me. He moved out of the Cullens' and we got an apartment together during my last year of college -- two years ago. We still haven't consummated our marriage; it feels illegitimate to me.
I don't even sleep in the same bed as my husband, because he doesn't sleep like I do. He stays up at night and I swear I can feel him watching me in my sleep.
I feel more like an animal he's studying than his wife.
