I don't want it to be true.

The signs are there.

But let's continue to ignore them shall we?

Ease my mind. Hold my hand. Put me through the tests.

Just don't leave me.

Do what I ask and appease me.

Then I can go away and rest easy.

If I'm right, it'll be a different story.

But I want to be wrong.

My heart is screaming. My mind is numbing. My body is hurting.

Let me know for sure.

Don't ask me to be assured by your word, because I won't.

Put my fears to rest.

Prove me wrong.
