1 poem: Rude Awakening
Nov. 4th, 2007 08:36 pmI hate to inform you of this
It honestly hurts to say
but you're in for a rude awakening
But there's no more time for delay
I'm not the angel you think I am
I'm broken, imperfect, and flawed
Easily angered, hard to embarrass
Don't you see I'm a fraud?
I accidentally lead you on
let you believe an unintentional lie
I never meant to live a fallacy
Now it's time to say goodbye
Because you're in for a rude awakening.
It honestly hurts to say
but you're in for a rude awakening
But there's no more time for delay
I'm not the angel you think I am
I'm broken, imperfect, and flawed
Easily angered, hard to embarrass
Don't you see I'm a fraud?
I accidentally lead you on
let you believe an unintentional lie
I never meant to live a fallacy
Now it's time to say goodbye
Because you're in for a rude awakening.
