Title: I Believe Them
Author's Notes: All my poems are not fanfic and are personal.
I heard it all my life from family and friends
From strangers, acquaintances, or anyone
As the words sink in like cement and build
Build into something deep and strong inside
That won't erode away as the words continue
From those who pass by like they're allowed
You have a fat ass
You have a flat ass
You're fat do you really need to eat that
You wear baggy clothes
You have no curves
You'd be pretty if only you lost weight
It's not a choice I have anymore
I'm ingrained to believe what they say
The moment I feel something different
The moment I feel like I'm something different
I still believe them
I believe them
You have a fat ass
You have a flat ass
You're fat do you really need to eat that
You wear baggy clothes
You have no curves
You'd be pretty if only you lost weight
I believe them
