Title: I'm Going to Kill Myself
Author's Notes: All my poems, they are not fanic. They are personal.

"I'm going to kill myself."
You said the words with dread
As they echoed in your head
Full of menace and self-loathing.

"I'm going to kill myself."
Was a promise, not a warning
You'd always face in the morning
When all was said and done.

"I'm going to kill myself."
You said it with tunnel vision
All the memories were just a fusion
Of everything you'd ever known.

"I'm going to kill myself,"
Was something you wanted to hide
Until it was too late to take a side
And all you had left was the pain.

"I'm going to kill myself,"
Shuddered through the night
Like it was neither wrong nor right
And your friends were the ones hurt.

"I'm going to kill myself."
Protection from all that pain
Only to inflict to seemingly gain
The new protection of friends.

"I'm going to kill myself."
To stop the worse of it now
Even if you knew exactly how
There was no turning back with them.

"I'm going to kill myself."
They cared and you couldn't ignore
Even if suddenly listening was a chore
Now you take back your own words.

"I'm going to kill myself."
Isn't just something you once said
Or words echoing in your head
They were a promise you broke.
