Characters/Pairings: Misa-centric, of course, but some Light/Misa
Warnings: Spoilers for the end of the series (volume 12 and episode 50).
01. Misa never told anyone, but she used to crawl into bed with her parents when there was a storm when she was afraid.
02. Misa had always wanted a little brother or sister. In fact, when her mother became pregnant when she was just seven, she was crushed when she heard the baby had died even thought she barely understood.
03. Misa was a nerd in school. She was constantly teased for being too skinny and blonde which the children claimed was an unnatural hair color.
04. Misa still had nightmares about the night her parents were murdered right in front of her eyes. When Kira brought the murder to justice, the nightmares ceased in number and finally, stopped altogether.
05. Once Misa became a model, the same classmate that had teased her started to ask her for her autograph, telling her how much they idolized her. She always smiled when she wanted to yell at them for what they had done before.
06. Misa started to call herself Misa-Misa and refer to herself in third person simply because she thought it was cute, but soon it became one of her gimmicks.
07. Misa was determined to meet Kira, and thought creating a second Kira would make it easier, but instead, all she did was cause trouble for the God she wanted to aide.
08. Misa was lost. She would never admit it to anyone including Light, but Misa was lost. When her parents died, she was ousted into the celebrity spotlight faster than she could comprehend. Now, she didn't even have a family to fall back on when her fame vanished.
09. Going from modeling to commercials to movies was an easy transition for Misa. Easy come, easy go, she thought as she signed autographs.
10. Photo shoots were Misa's favorite activity. The photographers constantly told her what a natural she was as she posed, and she felt like it all came natural. Scripts told her what to say, but during photo shoots, she didn't have to remember anything.
11. Misa always kept a picture of her parents under her pillow at night to keep them safe. Light was her Kira, her world, her God, and the picture just reminded her how righteous his goal really was.
12. Misa wasn't surprised when her gratitude toward Kira, the God who had taken justice on her parents' murders, turned to obsession and finally love. It was all part of her God's plans.
13. When Misa found out that Light was Kira, she couldn't help but think that only someone so handsome and beautiful could be God. He was the only one that had the right to judge anyone.
14. Misa wasn't surprised how out of one member of the five on the "Kira taskforce" was a fan. She was surprised that it wasn't more.
15. As a teen idol, Misa refused to state her love of Kira and belief in Kira's righteous plan secret. She never voiced her beliefs since her publicist thought it would be a bad idea to risk alienating her fans with the opposite belief.
16. Misa imagined that she and Light would get married one day, when the taskforce stopped hunting him down and the world bowed to his goal. He would become the world's God and she would be his loyal Goddess. Love would keep them together forever and a marriage would only strength their bond.
17. Misa found a morbid comfort when she heard of L's death. L was the only one standing in Kira's way of being a God to the world. He was the only one hunting Kira. With him dead, there was no one left to hunt Light. He was finally safe.
18. When Misa heard of the new… prodigies showing up to take over L's investigation of Light, she felt sickened. She couldn't understand why the world couldn't just understand: Light had won! There was no reason for them to find him anymore. If L couldn't stop Light, then no one could!
